Shan’s design aesthetics lie in a realm of its own, as he creates things that haven’t been seen before with a strict reliance on his morals of inclusivity and decolonization. Having both a Canadian and Pakistani background, Shan relies on his culture to inspire his individuality in this multicultural workforce and strives to create an equal space with more opportunities for POCS. In this collection, “Desi Superstar,” shan has blended luxurious Pakistani fabrics with eastern silhouettes to create stunning cultural hybrids that will rock the runway. The outfits even feature blending his culture with technological advancements in fashion such as 3D printing and LEDs.
