This project begins with the observation that, in modern cities, nature often exists in a “captured” state: carefully controlled, managed, and reshaped to fit human-designed living environments. In the pursuit of comfort and order, nature becomes predictable and accessible, while our direct connection to its original form gradually fades.

Rather than treating the future as a complete break from the past, this work understands it as a cycle. As direct access to nature decreases, memory becomes a way to stay connected.

Through a series of eyewear designs inspired by natural elements, this project explores how design participates in the re-imagining of nature and beauty, reflecting a relationship with nature shaped by memory rather than presence.
