Pélagia by lillittlegirlinred is the solo debut Spring Summer 2027 collection by Alicia Unwin. Centered around the theme, “where the ocean meets the sand” the collection uses off-white,  light blue and white colors. Taking into consideration the textile waste created by the fashion industry, the collection makes a commitment to using 40% reused and deadstock materials in its garment testing and construction. By leaning into a wedding and bridal wear inspired style, this genderfluid special occasion wear collection is versatile to mix and match its pieces to be suitable for any formal occasion.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Alicia Unwin

Alicia is a Canadian fashion designer and creative. Her fashion design work is broad, ranging from experience in womens, mens, genderfluid and plus sized clothing. Her brand lillittlegirlinred expands beyond fashion to explore various creative practices such as photography, textile exploration and other craft-based pursuits. With design practices rooted in diverse, inclusive and sustainable thinking, Alicia aims to design with the future and representation for POC and LGBTQ+ communities in mind. As a queer Chinese woman, a lot of her work is centered around the exploration of the world, giving a voice to its stories and understanding her own identity.
