Let There Be More Light

Edvin Ljubijankić

Inspired by a poem titled “Moja Rozeta” written by my Great Uncle Dr. Irfan Ljubijankić, Let There Be More Light reflects the words written by a 17-year-old Irfan in the mountainous terrains of Northwest Bosnia. The poem focuses heavily on themes of loss, longing, and nostalgia, which establishes the context from which the collection takes form.

Stylistically inspired by Kharlampi Kostandi’s painting “Evening Scene,” the collection blends classic cuts with dark colors, highlighting the isolated terrain and dense forestry of Bosanska Krajina.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

A full-page scan of a handwritten document on white paper, covered in neat, dark cursive script. The text is in a Slavic language (likely Serbo-Croatian), with a dedication at the top right 'posvećena groblju iz mog djetinjstva' (dedicated to the graveyard from my childhood), a centered title '- MOJA ROZETA -' (My Rosette), and the author's name 'Stjepan Ljubisankié' followed by several paragraphs of flowing text.
