Gabriela Romero

An investigation into the commodification of women across fashion and media. Presented as a magazine-style book that merges visual storytelling with critical writing, it confronts the ways women are sexualized, objectified, and reduced to products. By centering women’s experiences and perspectives, my work aims to expose how framing women as objects perpetuates the dehumanization that remains woven into contemporary media.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Close-up portrait of a young woman with wavy dark brown hair, brown eyes, and a gentle smile with glossy pink lips. She rests her chin on her right hand, wearing a black long-sleeved top, a red string bracelet with a wooden bead, and layered necklaces including a silver crucifix charm and a small green pendant. The background is softly blurred.
