HyunWoo Jung

Point of View explores illusion, shapes, and how perception moulds our understanding of garments. Through the utilization of black silk velvet and black paint, the garments are reduced to simple, smooth silhouettes that absorb light and further alter observation, making the garments look two-dimensional from certain perspectives. Point of View takes the viewers on an arc that goes from simple shapes to complex garments, using primarily organic and deadstock materials as an exercise of curiosity and experimentation.
