Fluidity

Kate Fitzpatrick for Fluidity

Fluidity is a fall/winter gender-fluid collection that reimagines androgyny through avant-garde silhouettes and handcrafted textiles. Rooted in philosophical and mythological ideas of unity and transformation, it invites wearers to experience clothing as an extension of identity beyond the body.

A black and white, low-angle, close-up portrait of a young woman with medium-length, dark, wavy hair parted in the middle and framing her face. She has dark eyes with a neutral, slightly downcast gaze, full lips, and two small moles (one on her right cheek, one below her lower lip). She wears a ribbed black turtleneck and hoop earrings, a small one on her right ear and a larger one on her left. The background is a plain light wall.

Kate Fitzpatrick for Fluidity

Kate Fitzpatrick is a fourth-year fashion design student focused on textile-driven design and specializing in weaving. Her work explores the relationship between body and garment through organic, nature-inspired forms, drawing on influences from mythology and surrealist art.
