This collection explores the reinterpretation of traditional Korean accessories through a contemporary visual language. Two central works depict a woman associated with the past and a woman representing the present. Both figures wear modernized versions of the binyeo and norigae; however, one accessory in each work is intentionally blurred. The binyeo is obscured in the past figure, while the norigae is softened in the present figure. This visual restraint shifts focus from the body to the surrounding smaller works, which highlight detailed studies of the accessories through close-ups, mixed materials, and three-dimensional elements. By fragmenting and recontextualizing these objects, the collection suggests that tradition evolves through reinterpretation rather than preservation.
