AND/OR investigates fashion as a medium of communication that transcends the confines and linearity of spoken language. This sculpture delves into the semiotic potential of fashion through materiality and form—simultaneously a universal medium and an empty vessel for meaning. AND/OR embodies the fluidity of meaning, suggesting that fashion can become everything we need it to be, and/or nothing at all. AND/OR emphasizes how sartorial construction and adornment serve as powerful tools for storytelling, inviting personal narratives and individual interpretations to unfold. The meaning of fashion, much like everything else in life, comes from what we make of it.
