JIYOON PARK

Banchan

In appreciation and longing of the warmth, love and labour of a full Korean meal with many side dishes and a bowl of rice and soup. I wanted to use the colours and shapes from the food and find the balance between art-to-wear, sportswear and also add a little bit of cute feminine elements to it. I want my collection to feel warm, comfortable, loved and joyful just like how Korean food makes me feel.

“Did you eat? What did you eat? You need to eat something good! Let’s eat! Eat this! Do you like it? Eat more, there’s more!”
