House of Ladè presents “Royal Escape,” an avant-garde collection of evening wear designed for the modern, empowered woman who curates her life with purpose. This collection is for those who appreciate fashion as a form of storytelling. House of Ladè is on a mission to decolonize fashion by challenging societal norms surrounding Black women and elevating African perspectives in an industry dominated by Western ideals. My designs reject the hyper-sexualization and masculinization of Black women, as well as the limiting “strong woman” stereotype.
“Royal Escape” redefines royalty for today’s woman—one who is not waiting to be rescued but is conquering her world. This collection celebrates intelligent, mysterious, romantic, and unapologetically self-assured women. It’s a tribute to those who transform life’s struggles into their power.

With emotional depth, this collection represents survival and growth, offering opportunities for those who have struggled to find their place.
