My collection is rooted in the intersection of 1990s underground music culture, rave aesthetics, and modern athleisure. Inspired by the sociology of fashion and resurgence of community post-pandemic, I study how immersive live music environments continue to provide a safe space for self-expression, shaping the way we dress and interact.
This collection reflects on the parallels between the sociopolitical movements of the 1990s and today, exploring the ethos of seeking unity through hardship. The designs prioritize modularity and functionality, creating versatile pieces that adapt to the wearer’s needs and highlight the interconnectedness of fashion, music, and youth culture as agents of change. Inspired by the bonds I have built through music and shared experiences, I aim to craft garments that resonate with the evolving relationship between personal identity and collective creativity.
