Christa Jude S/S 26 Collection

Christa Nicci Jude

This collection explores themes of femininity, nostalgia, and the quite transition from girlhood into womanhood. Rooted in personal memory and emotional storytelling, the work reflects a desire to preserve softness and sentiment within everyday dressing.

Drawing inspiration from cultural influences and lived experiences, the collection reinterprets familiar forms through a more refined and contemporary lens. Delicate materials such as lace, chiffon, and satin are contrasted with structured elements to create a balance between fragility and intention.

Positioned within the idea of expressive everyday dressing, the garments are designed to be both wearable and meaningful. The collection invites a slower, more thoughtful approach to fashion, where clothing becomes not only functional, but a reflection of identity, memory, and personal expression.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Christa Nicci Jude

I am a final-year Fashion Communication student at Toronto Metropolitan University, with a focus on visual design, branding, and creative storytelling. My work is guided by clarity, intention, and a globally informed perspective, shaped by experiences across Cortona, London, Berlin, and New York.

Grounded in both concept and execution, my practice explores how visual language can communicate identity and emotion. Through academic projects and my experience in marketing at Harry Rosen, I have developed a strong foundation in digital design, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.

I am drawn to creating work that feels considered, engaging, and visually resonant by approaching design as both a strategic and expressive medium. My perspective continues to evolve through experience, informed by a curiosity for culture, narrative, and global dialogue.
