Lucky

Olivia Salvati

This collection explores luck as an occurrence generated through intention rather than chance. The fairy herself represents embodied fortune- the manifestation of luck that emerges once a wish has been symbolically offered. She does not grant wishes; instead, she personifies the outcome of belief and hopeful intention. Throughout my collection, the wishing fountain serves as the central symbolic motif. Historically associated with ritual offering and deferred fulfillment, the fountain represents the act of surrendering a desire to unseen possibility. By transforming this symbol into wearable objects belonging to the fairy; creating a wand, necklace, and charms—the collection materializes the process of wish-making. The accessories function as symbolic conduits. They “cast” or carry wishes, directing intention toward the fairy, who embodies the resulting luck. In this way, adornment becomes ritual: the wearer participates in a symbolic exchange between desire and fortune.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Olivia Salvati

My art sits at the intersection of fashion, art, and world building, as I strive to combine meticulous hand crafted art with wearable accessory in the most whimsical ways possible. I’m fascinated by how objects can carry emotion, meaning, and memory. That curiosity fuels everything I make, from small collectibles to large scale wearable art, expanding my work into realms of both fashion and jewelry. Through my business Olivescharms, I create handmade charms, accessories, and custom pieces that bring a sense of nostalgia, comfort, luck, and enchantment to the wearer; serving as small reminders of the magic that persistently surrounds us.
